About UK Flashpoint
UK Flashpoint is an independent monitoring tool that brings together sourced reports of significant incidents, disruption and national resilience across the United Kingdom.
What it is
It is a compact situational-awareness dashboard. It uses official sources where available, retains provenance and presents a rolling 30-day public incident view.
What it is not
UK Flashpoint is not an emergency service, a government body, a complete crime database or a substitute for local safety advice. It does not claim comprehensive UK coverage, and publication does not prove a motive or every detail reported while an incident is evolving.
Public beta
The service is in public beta. Official structured data is uneven, local source coverage varies, and some records lack confirmed city or map coordinates. Reports can be delayed or corrected, and automated discovery can miss events or surface false positives.
How records are handled
Read the sources and methodology for inclusion, severity, deduplication, time, location and Activity Level rules. If a published record appears wrong, use the corrections form.
